Thanksgiving and Christmas

The holidays were a little difficult this year without Grandpa. He died the afternoon before Thanksgiving, but since we had all already decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at their house, we chose to continue on. We figured we would have wanted to be together anyways, so we might as well eat good while we were at it!

This all was our contribution. Lots of corn and dairy. Haha

We tried to get some family pictures. I was starting to show, but in that phase where you just look fat.

Some people can't take a serious picture

Cutest outfit!

This was the best picture we got of us

Christmas was crazy as per usual, trying to make the rounds for all the family members. The kids were awesome to watch this year, since they both really got it this year. Of course they were blessed with a ridiculous amount of gifts, way more than I know what to do with.

For some reason Carter was distraught over the fact that we had a fake tree, even though we have never had a real one. He kept telling everyone that we were going to have a fake Christmas since we had a fake tree. So, his daddy took him to pick out a small real tree.

I created this Olaf tree for Delaney. She still won't let me take it down. She talks to it and shows it things sometimes. Creepy.

Carter's school put on an adorable Christmas program! He was so excited to perform.

And of course, they were both on the puny side when it was time to visit Santa. They had both been so excited to see him, but Delaney teared up when it was their turn. After a minute though, she wiped her own tears away and talked to him a bit.

All Nana's grandkids!

Nana seriously goes WAAAAYYY over the top with gifts!

My sisters in law left me out of the drinks ;)
